Online Game Ranking by Country
The internet has become a basic necessity, just like electricity and water. As a result, internet technology has become both cheaper and more widespread. So, which country plays online games the most? What are the most preferred games?
A study conducted by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences has gathered the answers to these questions under one title for the first time in a report.
According to the report, South Korea ranks first in the percentage of people who play games online, with 68.8% of internet users stating that they play games every day.
Following South Korea is China, with 52.1% of Chinese internet users giving the same response. However, since China has a larger population, it seems that it will hold its top position in terms of numbers for a long time, rather than percentages.
The United States ranks third in the same study, with 47.1% of respondents saying they play games every day.
Although Turkey did not make it to the ranking, among the most played games are baby and kids games.
